This year I decided to do something very different
from last year (when it was all white...)
The dress I already had (Etsy.) The lace shrug is another
thing from my wardrobe. The mask is from New Orleans
(because that's what you buy for souvenirs...)
The wings are generic angel wings from Target. My
hair is held up with way too many bobby pins,
and the feathers were stuck in... haphazardly... I
was molting all day. Better than glitter ;)
The cuff is a sequined ribbon with feathers hot-glued to the back. There is also velcro on the ends to hold them on my wrists.
The collar is feathers hot-glued in rows onto a dicky style piece of fabric. Velcro on the back to keep it shut. The top edge is a fabric flower ribbon. The dangles on the sides of the picture are my feathery earrings.
I came home and had to take out all the feathers. I should also
mention that I had ratted up parts of my hair to make the
feathers stay in...This is what my hair looked
like after I took everything out. Perfect.
